Purpose of the role

As part of strengthening our IT team, we are looking for a user support technician. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining the IT infrastructure, and providing quality technical support to our employees.

Your missions will include:

User Support and Assistance

  • Prepare and provide appropriate IT equipment for new employees (Windows).
  • Organize and manage the return of equipment when an employee leaves.
  • Conduct training sessions for users.
  • Gather user assistance requests, analyze, and prioritize interventions.
  • Troubleshoot/assist users or trigger external interventions.
  • Manage, resolve, and monitor N1 and N2 incidents (office automation, business applications, hardware failures, telephony, backup).

Installation and Maintenance of IT Infrastructure

  • Gather and analyze user needs, contributing to the development of access rules to information.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of IT equipment, peripherals, and software while guaranteeing data security on the local network and on all workstations.

 

Profile

We are looking for a user support/IT technician with at least 2 years of experience in the field or a similar position.

You have solid expertise in operating systems, primarily Windows, and knowledge of Linux environments will be appreciated.

Your technical skills include:

  • Advanced mastery of Windows 10/11, including user profile management, data backups and restores, as well as the installation and configuration of associated software.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Windows 10/11 update process.
  • Extensive technical competence with desktop and laptop computers, covering their architecture, installation, connection, and troubleshooting.
  • Expertise in using user assistance tools and remote intervention, such as GLPI.
  • Familiarity with computer deployment tools and office peripherals.

 

Your sense of service and pedagogy allows you to effectively assist users and support them in getting started with their equipment and associated applications. You are naturally curious and stay constantly updated on technological advancements to ensure continuous improvement of your skills.

Proficiency in written English would be an appreciated asset for this position.
