Position and duties:
Reporting to the Technical Department, you are in charge of the design and commercial production of the company's products, in direct communication with the R&D engineers, based on the ongoing projects.
You work in partnership with the senior designer and progressively take on the following main tasks:
CA Design electronic developments:
- Schematic diagram, routing and compliance with EMC constraints
- Create, organize and update component libraries
- Generate manufacturing Gerber files
CA Drafting mechanical developments: identify needs, study and define industrial solutions and produce rough drafts, detailed drawings and 3D plans.
Production of the design description and commercial production files (status sheets, bill of materials, equipment plans, etc.).
Analysis and implementation with production cost optimization objectives.
Management of subcontractors during the production launch phase, in collaboration with the Purchasing department.
A Senior Technician with 2 to 3 years of higher education and a specialty in Industrial Computing and Electrical Engineering or Electrotechnics, you have your first experience on the aforementioned tasks.
In CA Design, knowledge of the usual design rules and standards (EMC requirements, RF signal routing, interaction with the mechanical part, recognition of manufacturing constraints, etc.) is essential.
Knowledge of design software tools like Altium DXP is required.
In CA Drafting, knowledge of the technical characteristics of plastics, sheet metal, manufacturing methods (molds, etc.) is required.
Knowledge of design software tools like Solidworks or Inventor 3D would be a plus.
